Manuscript Submission

All submissions must be uploaded through “IEEE IES Conferences Community System’s Paper Submission Website” following the schedule given in important dates.

Each submission will be reviewed by three independent reviewers using a single blind peer review process, and will be screened for plagiarism and duplicate publication. The accepted papers are to be presented in the conference, and will be hosted on IEEE Xplore, subject to formatting and copyright requirements.

Prospective authors are invited to electronically submit regular papers of their work in English. Submit the full paper using the following layout. Limitation to 6 full pages, including paper title, authors and affiliations, figures and references (maximum size 2MB).

Authors are requested to prepare the manuscripts in the IEEE two-column format template and to translate it in PDF. No other format in the submission and in the final version can be accepted. Cryogenic and Superconducting Electrical Machines and Drives

The expanding electrification of the transport, aerospace, marine, and industrial sectors calls for electrical systems that surpass conventional technologies in efficiency and power density. Cryogenic cooling and superconducting materials can help overcome thermal, electromagnetic, and mechanical limitations, enabling next-generation electrical machines, power electronics, drives, and energy systems. This special session brings together researchers and practitioners exploring the modelling, design, control, cooling, and integration of cryogenic and superconducting technologies. Contributions addressing materials, devices, system architectures, and real-world applications are particularly welcome.

Emerging Technologies, Processes, and Energy Systems for Low-Carbon Industries
Organizers: Sérgio Coelho and Alaize Dall-Orsoletta

This special session welcomes contributions from diverse scientific and engineering disciplines to explore emerging technologies, innovative processes, and advanced energy systems supporting sustainable and low-carbon industrial development. The session encourages interdisciplinary research addressing industrial process optimization, energy and resource efficiency, renewable energy integration, reduction of losses, monitoring systems, circular economy, recyclability, and decarbonization. Particular attention is given to applications across various sectors, including agrifood, bio-based, energy-intensive, and manufacturing industries. Contributions ranging from conceptual research to experimental validation, technological developments, and real-world industrial applications are encouraged.
